Ashley A. Petriches

Born and bred in eastern Michigan, Ashley has known that she wanted to be a lawyer since the very young age of seven years old! Passionate about defending people and standing up for their rights, she wanted to be the voice for people who may otherwise have not had one and decided that the best way to do this was by training to become a lawyer.

Ashley A. Petriches Career

Graduating from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2020 as one of the top lawyers in her class, Ashley has a strong passion for Family and Criminal law and began her legal career as an intern at the Genessee County Courthouse in the Criminal/Civil Division, before moving on to become a Judicial Law Clerk for the Family Division – after which she finally joined us here at Michigan Cannabis Lawyers.

An active member of the legal community, Ashley is proud to have written the opinion and order for the first case impression regarding DRE science and experts out of Genesse County and is excited to get stuck in on cases with us here and to be working on Cannabis law.

Outside of work, Ashley loves to be active in the great outdoors and enjoys spending time in nature. She’s also an avid swimmer and practices weight-lifting regularly to stay fit and strong.

We are very excited to have Ashley on the team as our first female cannabis and drug recognition lawyer here at Michigan Cannabis Lawyers and believe that she will be a great asset to our clients.
